Why Film Photography for Your Wedding Is So Special | The Timeless Charm of Analog
In a world of instant digital previews and perfectly edited images, edited even with the AI. there’s something deeply moving about the quiet imperfection of film photography. For me, adding analog photography to a wedding day is not just a stylistic choice, it’s a way to honor the emotional depth of your story.
There’s a warmth, a softness, and a certain timeless beauty that film captures like nothing else. It’s more than nostalgia: it’s emotion, texture, and soul in each frame. The light hits differently, the grain tells a story, and the moment feels more sacred somehow. Especially during weddings, where emotions run high and memories are being made forever, film slows us down and lets us feel.
I often shoot a few rolls of 35mm film during weddings, sometimes in color, sometimes in black and white. These frames have a character of their own: raw, honest, and full of depth. And the beauty is, they don’t try to be perfect. They simply are.
I include analog photography in all my wedding packages because I believe film captures something digital can’t, not just images, but memories that feel alive. There’s a certain poetic quality in every frame, a softness and depth that turns moments into timeless memories.
If you're planning your wedding in Italy and dreaming of something authentic, artistic, and emotional, know that your story will be told through both digital and film, I’d be honored to help you capture your love story in a way that truly lasts.
Because trends will fade, but film feels eternal.
