Engagement Photoshoot in Florence at Sunrise | Billy & Min Among Art, Light, and Film
Some mornings feel like they belong in a dream and Billy and Min’s engagement session in Florence was exactly that.
We met at sunrise when the streets were still quiet and the city slowly began to wake up. Florence revealed itself with all its magic, the Uffizi glowing in the golden light, and the kind of beauty that takes your breath away at Ponte Vecchio. Billy and Min chose this city for the art, the romance, and the timeless feeling it offers. And it truly felt like the perfect place to celebrate their love.
To make this moment even more meaningful, they chose to include analog photography. I shot part of their session with Kodak Gold 200 film, a warm and soft film that captures the emotion of those early morning hours in a way that feels deeply nostalgic and poetic.
We ended our session with breakfast right in front of the Florence Duomo (my favorite in all of Italy… but don’t tell the others ahah). Between a coffee and a cornetto we finished our couple session, because for me the relationship with customers goes beyond the photographic work itself. It was a privilege to document such a meaningful chapter in their story.
