A Destination Baptism in Vienna:
Celebrating Family and Love
Even though I don’t usually photograph baptisms, this one was truly special. Lia and Mauro and their families have been my clients for many years, and when it came time to celebrate the baptism of their son Christian, they asked me to join them in Vienna, the city where their own love story began.
Traveling from Italy to Austria for such an intimate and meaningful moment was an honor for me. Every time I get the chance to work abroad, it’s an emotional experience, but this one felt particularly touching. Their family is so close knit, and being able to witness and document such a milestone made me incredibly grateful and happy.
It was more than just a baptism, it was a celebration of love, family, and the beautiful journey that started right here in Vienna.
P.S. I will not be sharing all the photos, even though his parents kindly gave me permission. I truly value protecting such an important moment and a baby, so instead I’m sharing images that capture the emotions and atmosphere of the day without showing his face entirely.
