Who am I?
About me - Italy Wedding Photographer - Brenda Borgia
Hi, I’m Brenda! I’m a documentary wedding photographer, a dreamer, a restless heart.
But most of all, I’m someone who believes in the power of love, light, and real connection.
The moment I hold a camera, everything else disappears.
I feel light, free, fully present. As if I could leave the weight of the world behind, and simply exist in a moment between two people who chose each other.
I’m not here to stage or direct every second. I’m here to witness, to gently guide when needed, but mostly to observe the unspoken bond that makes your story unique.
And I’ll probably cheer you on while I shoot, because I get so excited when I see your love shining.
My photography is a mix of editorial and documentary, guided by intuition and heart.
Every photo is an attempt to freeze a feeling, not just how things looked, but how they felt.
My journey didn’t start with a degree in photography.
I studied industrial chemistry, chasing a “safe path,” until I realized it wasn’t mine.
And a big part of that realization came when I met Andrea.
He saw something in me, my talent, my strength, my ambition and slowly helped me bring it to the surface. He encouraged me to believe in myself and in the life I truly wanted.
Without him, I don’t think I would have had the courage to start this business and chase the dream that photography had always been for me.
One day, I let go of everything and picked up the camera again, the same one my father gave me when I was ten. Since that moment, I’ve never stopped. And never looked back.
Today I capture destination weddings, elopements and intimate love stories all across Italy.
But if I could choose one place to bring every couple, it would be the sea. There’s something about it that always feels like home, maybe because that’s where my dad is now.
Beyond photography, I’m a book lover, a film photography addict, a two cat mom.
I’ve been a vegetarian since 2012 for ethical reasons, and if I could, I’d live on pasta (or Neapolitan pizza, obviously) and sunsets forever.
I believe in honest emotions, and in storytelling that makes you feel something.
Let’s create something that lasts.
Something that feels like you.
