Estelle and Younes’ couple session took place entirely in the rain, not the soft, romantic kind, but a steady, intense downpour that followed us throughout the shoot. And yet, it became part of the magic. Their energy, their connection, and their ability to embrace the moment made everything feel effortless and real.
This session was captured during a workshop with Maley Photo in Lisbon, an experience that pushed me creatively and allowed me to explore storytelling in a more instinctive way. Sintra, with its mist, textures, and deep tones, felt like the perfect setting for such a raw and emotional shoot.
There’s something powerful about letting go of perfect conditions and simply being present. Estelle and Younes did exactly that, and the result is a series of images that feel intimate, honest, and full of atmosphere.
